High CPU Usage when using FastPixel

FastPixel is highly optimized to use as few resources as possible.
The actual optimizations for the web pages, CSS minifications, image optimizations, and so on are performed on our optimization cloud, and the resulting optimized pages are sent back to the website using the FastPixel plugin.

It is highly unlikely that FastPixel could significantly increase the load on the server hosting your website, but if you suspect something like this may be happening, you can simply turn off the FastPixel plugin to see if there’s any improvement and also contact us for support.

In the past, there have been some instances where FastPixel could generate increased load when adding a large number of pages to the optimization queue. However, we’ve since optimized the process, and this is no longer the case.
